First Ascent was Eddie Bauer's re-entry into the world of high performance outerwear and athletic apparel. I worked with the Creative Director, Senior Designer and Technical Designer to concept and produce multiple seasons consisting of 30+ styles each. We worked together with the merchandising, sourcing, professional athlete, executive and buying teams to create concepts, wear test, lab test, monitor fits, visit factories, attend tradeshows and develop fabric, colors and trims.

During my time at First Ascent I worked on every product in the Outerwear and Accessories categories and helped out with Activewear and Gear. This included special projects like the Down Suit for a specific mountain ascent and limited edition pieces utilizing hyper technical fabrics not found in the main line.

I was directly responsible for sketches, tech packs, lab dips, trim design, fabric consulting, print process, line sheets, graphics, tech packs, fit comments, market reports and presentation decks.
